At IG DENTAL SERVICES, we understand the emotional and financial challenges involved in determining the next phase of your practice's life cycle. Our years of experience and success have taught us to keep our client's goals as priority with each business decision. Many of our clients discount the emotional impact of a transition. We have observed that often the big changes and loss of professional identity have as much impact as the actual mechanics of the sale. We understand the complex emotions and we do our best to support our clients during a transition.

Dr. Dick Lester is a general dentist with career experiences that include traditional solo practice and multi- location, multi-specialty practices and the business experience associated with his years with Orthodontic Centers of America (OCA) and Orthosynetics, Inc (OSI).

Dr. Lester was Owner, President and CEO of the highly successful "The Dentist Place", a multi-specialty dental group, including but not limited to general dentistry, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry and oral surgery with multiple offices throughout Florida. Following the sale of that business Dr. Lester joined OCA, as Senior Vice President Professional Development.

He left OCA in 2005 to return to clinical dentistry, having purchased a general practice in Gulf Breeze, Florida, doubling its size, adding a new associate and completing construction of a new office building to manage the rapid growth. Dr. Lester completed the sale of his private practice to his associate in 2014 and moved back to the New Orleans area.

His time as a multi office multi-specialty practice owner as well as his experiences with orchestrating many transitions while an executive for a publicly traded company position him well to understand the market as well as the needs of his clients.
